About Dr. Gapuz
A graduate of De Ocampo Memorial College, Dr. Alfredo Gapuz has practiced in Florida for over 30 years. He regularly pursues continuing education to expand his services and ensure that he remains up-to-date with the latest techniques. In addition to foundational oral health care and cosmetic services, Dr. Gapuz specializes in sedation dentistry and neuromuscular dentistry. Because visiting the dentist often leaves many patients anxious, Dr. Gapuz takes particular efforts to ensure that you are comfortable during your visit. Sedation options can help relax nervous patients while neuromuscular dentistry is provided as effective, noninvasive treatment for Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders.Learn More About Dr. Gapuz

Dr. Gapuz is proud to be an authorized provider of FastBraces, a timely alternative to traditional orthodontics. Where metal or plastic braces up to four years to realign your bite, FastBraces can do the same in five to six months with less overall pain. As an additional bonus, once the FastBraces are removed, patients typically only need to wear retainers for 15 to 20 minutes a day, rather than all day long.
This branch of dentistry focuses on alleviating the effects of TMJ disorders (TMD) by correcting the alignment of the teeth, bones, muscles, and nerves around the jaw joints. TMD occurs when these joints become misaligned, which can lead to headaches, muscle pain, and clicking in the jaw.
Trained in neuromuscular dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute, Dr. Gapuz can non-invasively diagnose and treat TMD in the office. Depending on the specifics of your condition, he may use a wide variety of technology, including electromyography, TENS device, jaw tracking, and sonography.
