Dr. Alfredo M. Gapuz, Jr. has been in practice for 32 years, each year adding to a wealth of experience and continued practice of excellence. In his quest to bring his patients the best in dental care, he continues to pursue post-graduate education to enrich his knowledge and improve his skills. His professional peers regard him as a “master” in the art of dentistry, one who brings a variety talents and innovative techniques to his practice.
His straightforward application of the fundamental dental sciences and his keen insight into the needs of his patients and their view of dentistry distinguish Dr. Gapuz. Education and Continuing Studies
Dr. Gapuz is a 1980 graduate of De Ocampo Memorial College (formerly known as Philippine Dental College) and holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He attended pre-dental school at the University of the East. In 1989, Dr. Gapuz moved to the U.S. and began taking the national board and license, receiving his license in 1992. Furthering his education since 1992, he has attended numerous seminars and continuing education courses at the University of Florida, most in the areas of aesthetics, restoration and endodontics.
In October 2003, he completed the implantology course at the Center for Dental Implants of South Florida in Miami, FL. Dr. Gapuz completed the Advanced Adhesive Aesthetic Dentistry Program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in 2007, allowing him to perform complex restorative dentistry.
During the summer of 2010, he furthered his expertise in implantology by attending the Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s course in Comprehensive Implant Dentistry, which focused on all steps of the procedure, from treatment planning to clinical implementation.
The 2011 ASDA Conference furthered his knowledge in Computerized Contemporary Smile Design, Predictable Implant Aesthetics: A Prosthetic Technique, and Aesthetic Provisionals with and without a Diagnostic Waxup.
He is currently pursuing Advanced Functional Restorative Dentistry at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute and focusing on neuromuscular dentistry. To remain updated with dental technology, Orlando cosmetic dentist Dr. Gapuz attended a Biolase seminar on laser dentistry with a focus on working with soft tissue during the summer of 2012.

Dr. Gapuz and his family are active members of the Holy Family Catholic Church on Apopka-Vineland Road in Orlando. His integrity and dedication to excellence make him a strong role model for his three children. As a culinary art enthusiast, Dr. Gapuz loves to cook for his family and friends. He also spends his free time gardening, watching basketball, and fishing.
