Dr. Alfredo M. Gapuz Jr. has been in practice for 32 years, each year adding to a wealth of experience and continued practice of excellence. In his quest to bring his patients the best of dental care he continues to pursue post-graduate education to enrich his knowledge and improve his skills. His professional peers regard him as a "master" in the art of dentistry, one who brings a variety talents and innovative techniques to his practice.

Other important factors that distinguish Dr. Gapuz are his straight-forward application of the fundamental dental sciences to the practice of dentistry and his keen insight into the needs of his patients and their view of dentistry. This, along with his outstandingly gentle approach, has led to his remarkable success. You'll see why we say that Dr. Gapuz' office is the place "where excellence in dentistry & art meet"!

Education and Continued Studies

Dr. Gapuz is a 1980 graduate of De Ocampo Memorial College (formerly known as Philippine Dental College) and holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He attended pre-dental school at the University of the East. In 1989 Dr. Gapuz moved to the U.S. and began taking the national board and license, receiving his license here in 1992. Furthering his education since 1992, he attends numerous seminars and continuing education at the University of Florida, most of them in the areas of aesthetics, restoration and endodontics.

He took post-graduate courses in orthodontics through the International Association for Orthodontics. In October 2003, he completed the implantology course under the direction of Dr. Arun Garg in Miami, Florida.

He is currently pursuing Advanced Functional Restorative Dentistry at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute and focusing on neuromuscular dentistry.

Dr. Gapuz and his family are active members of the Holy Family Catholic Church on Apopka-Vineland Road in Orlando. His integrity and dedication to excellence make him a strong role model for his three children. As a culinary art enthusiast, Dr. Gapuz loves to cook for his family and friends and spends his free time fishing, golfing and gardening with his family.
