Our office is open for dental emergencies and phone consultations on Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  We are booking all non-emergency procedures after May 8th, 2020.

We are constantly monitoring the situation as it develops, and we will adhere to the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

We have well-established measures in place to prevent transmission of all communicable diseases, including flu and other respiratory illnesses. Respiratory etiquette and strict sanitary practices are being implemented by Dr. Gapuz and his team, to ensure safety for all patients and staff. Hand sanitizers are available. Our staff is trained to screen patients for fever, sore throat, cough, chills, runny nose, difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, and recent travel.

We are confident that we will get through this situation in good health and high spirits. We’d love to see you again when we re-open.

Repair Moderate Damage to the Back Teeth with Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays: a head and shoulders image of an older man and woman smiling into the camera.

Inlays and onlays are often very effective dental treatments that can repair damage to the surfaces of your back teeth. Dental inlays restore teeth that have decay within their indented top surfaces. Dental onlays treat decay that extends to one or more of the surrounding cusps. Our experienced cosmetic dentist, Dr. Alfredo Gapuz, uses advanced techniques to strengthen the overall structure of your tooth and prevent bacteria from entering and forming new cavities.

Dr. Gapuz works to ensure lasting beauty and health for his patients’ teeth. Our porcelain and composite resin materials have a very natural appearance and will not expand and contract with temperature changes the way metal fillings do. Dr. Gapuz custom-designs your inlays or onlays to precisely fit your teeth.

Inlays and Onlays Procedure

During your initial consultation with Dr. Gapuz, he will determine if you need inlays, onlays, or both. Dr. Gapuz will then take digital impressions of your teeth and gums for the creation of state-of-the-art restorations.

With our high-tech E4D system, Dr. Gapuz fabricates and places these restorations in just one office visit. Our advanced imaging technology helps us map each tooth’s individual surface contours, and we send these images digitally to our in-office milling machine. In a matter of minutes, the machine customizes a porcelain restoration that perfectly fits the unique contours of your tooth. Upon bonding and sealing, the restoration is complete, helping you achieve beautiful results.
