Our office is open for dental emergencies and phone consultations on Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  We are booking all non-emergency procedures after May 8th, 2020.

We are constantly monitoring the situation as it develops, and we will adhere to the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

We have well-established measures in place to prevent transmission of all communicable diseases, including flu and other respiratory illnesses. Respiratory etiquette and strict sanitary practices are being implemented by Dr. Gapuz and his team, to ensure safety for all patients and staff. Hand sanitizers are available. Our staff is trained to screen patients for fever, sore throat, cough, chills, runny nose, difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, and recent travel.

We are confident that we will get through this situation in good health and high spirits. We’d love to see you again when we re-open.

Be safe and take care!

Sedation Dentistry

Pain-Free Experience

By offering sedation in addition to local anesthesia (which blocks physical pain and sensation), Dr. Alfredo Gapuz can provide a comfortable, pain-free experience for his Orlando patients.

Calm State of Mind

If you suffer from dental anxiety, choosing sedation can help you feel calm and relaxed during your appointment. It may even help you build a more positive relationship with visits to the dentist.

More Efficient Treatment

It is more difficult to treat a tense, anxious patient. By helping you achieve relaxation in the dentist's chair, Dr. Gapuz can provide more efficient care.

If visiting the dentist generates feelings of fear and anxiety, we offer advanced sedation dentistry solutions to make your visits as calming and pain-free as possible. As an experienced sedation dentist in Orlando, Dr. Alfredo Gapuz can safely alleviate anxiety and discomfort using advanced techniques. He can perform a variety of cosmetic and restorative dentistry procedures with sedation dentistry, including porcelain veneers, dental implants and many other options.

Conscious Sedation

Conscious sedation is a drug-induced state of reduced awareness. We provide you with an oral conscious sedative pill to take about one hour before your procedure, which puts you in a deep state of relaxation during your treatment. You will still be able to communicate and respond to Dr. Gapuz during the procedure. One of our experienced dental team members will closely monitor your progress throughout the treatment. This allows you to undergo your dental procedure in a relaxed state without intense fear or anxiety during the treatment. Oral conscious sedation makes it possible for you to receive dental treatment virtually painlessly. In fact, you may not even have any recollection the procedure took place at all once it is complete. Dr. Gapuz advises patients who have oral conscious sedation that they will need to arrange for someone to drive them to and from our practice for the procedure.

As an alternative to oral conscious sedation, our office offers NuCalm™, a high-tech and all-natural system that also keeps you in a relaxed state throughout your procedure. After treatment, patients feel rejuvenated, rather than disoriented and groggy. NuCalm’s™ substance-free method allows you to leave the office safely on your own and without recovery time.
